Guest Speaker: Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman

Nathan Hochman, a former federal prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney General, President of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and defense attorney, is the current District Attorney of Los Angeles County. Nathan believes politics has no place in the D.A.’s Office. He is working to restore public safety in LA County by implementing sound prosecution policy based on the facts and the law – not an extreme political ideology. Nathan earned his bachelor’s degree from Brown University (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and his Juris Doctor degree with distinction from Stanford Law School.

Nathan will share with us his thoughts on combating the surge of antisemitism in Los Angeles County. He will discuss his views on the importance of identifying hate crimes for more aggressive prosecution. Also, the factors causing the rise of gun use in violent crimes will be explored.…
