What to Expect
Have you ever contemplated learning how to help save a life in a medical emergency, yet don't have the time to attend medical school. This is one of the best ways to accomplish that task with no formal medical training. Gun shot trauma or other traumatic accidents, which can result in a life threatening bleed must be addressed immediately to be effective, and can be treated by a trained individual. This class is the obvious skills acquisition choice for shooters and others too. Bullets & Bagels is pleased to announce a "Stop-the-Bleed" class to be held at the Alpert JCC Long Beach on Sunday January 11, 2026 at 10:00 am. Miguel Luna, head of security and retired federal agent, Dr. Fred Kogen, club president and Andrew Wiener (U.S. Treasury Agent ret.), B&B Instructor & Range Safety Officer, will guide students to the use and proper implementation of these life saving techniques.
