Guest Speaker:   Captain Joses Walehwa

Joses Walehwa was born in Kampala, Uganda, and immigrated to the United States in 1976. He grew up in Orange County and is a graduate of the University of Iowa and earned a Master's degree from Saint Ambrose University in Iowa. Joses Walehwa has been in law enforcement for 20 years and currently holds the rank of captain at the Brea Police Department. Captain Walehwa will discuss the current situation for Jews and those of other faiths in the greater Orange County area. We are interested to learn if indeed there exists the same level of concern for our community here in Orange County compared to the more "Jewish" communities north, such as Pico-Robertson, and if so, how is local law enforcement gearing up to address this disturbing and anxiety-provoking new trend, that of protecting "faith-based" communities and houses of worship?
