Captain Walehwa is a highly esteemed law enforcement officer with an impressive career. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is an exceptional speaker. Consequently, we have invited him to return to regale us with insightful stories of his career, and address pertinent issues concerning the Orange County Jewish community.
As we are aware, there has been a surge in overt acts of “Jew-hatred,” including vandalism of religious institutions and street harassment of Jewish individuals. Is this phenomenon occurring within our own community of Orange County? If so, what measures have been implemented to address this issue, and how can we - as individuals with a vested interest - contribute to the protection of our Jewish community members?
